No Show Policy
Our goal is to provide quality and timely care for you and your family. Please understand that missing your appointment affects both the care we give to your child as well as depriving other families of needed appointments. These “no shows” jeopardize our ability to care for your child and prevents other patients from receiving timely care.
What is a ‘No Show’
Your appointment will be labeled as a “no show” under the following circumstances.
- You have not given at least 24 hours’ notice that you are canceling the appointment
- You arrive more than 15minutes late for your appointment
The following policy will be in effect as of August 1, 2022
- 3 “no show” appointments in the same FAMILY may result in discharging you from the practice
- New patients that “no show” the first appointment will not be allowed to establish care with us
- If you have multiple children scheduled together and “no show”, you will no longer be able to schedule your children at the same time.
We will attempt to send reminders by your preferred mode of contact, but please remember that it is ultimately your responsibility to keep track of your scheduled appointment and notify us in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Thank you for your help in this matter,
The Doctors of UPPC
